Lighting and sound

Recently at school we have had a new hall put in with sound and lightin. The lighting is very effective being able to blend colours and use different effects. After being taught how to use the new technology we practised changing the lighting, and the sound changes between microphones and the ipod.
It took a while to get to know what each button did so that is why doing the karoke video will help us boost our confidence and familiarise ourselves with the different effects the lights can do.

One thing the lights can do is strobe lighting but our teacher then told us the strobe law. It states "The British Health and Safety Executive recommend that a net flash rate for a bank of strobe lights does not exceed 5 flashes per second, at which only 5% of photosensitive epileptics are at risk. It also recommends that no strobing effect continue for more than 30 seconds, due to the potential for discomfort and disorientation."

If I use the lights in the hall this is something I will have to consider
